Thermodynamic Databases

For expert users of the  CALPHAD technique.

This is a thermodynamic database for nitrogen alloyed stainless steel, describing the FeCrMoNiN alloy system.     The database is validated for calculations at temperatures above 573K. A detailed description is given in "K. Frisk, Solubility of N in Cr-Fe-Mo-Ni Alloys, Metallurgical Transactions A, 23A, (1992), pp.1271-1278" and in "K.Frisk, A   Database for the Fe-Cr-Mo-Ni-N System, Journal of Phase Equilibria and Diffusion, Volume 45, pages 1130–1140, (2024). https://doi.org/10.1007/s11669-024-01156-1
  • Thermodynamic Database for Hardmetals, ICEM

ICEM_1: This is a thermodynamic database for hardmetals, describing the Co-Ti-W-C-N alloy system. It is valid for calculations of hardmetals with a Co-based binder.
ICEM_2This is a thermodynamic database for hardmetals, describing the Co-Ta-Ti-W-Zr-C-N alloy system. This is an extension of the ICEM_1 database,  adding the alloying elments Ta and Zr.

IAL_1: This is a thermodynamic database for aluminium alloys.
